Grounds are well maintained and attractive. Best of all this is a rent control building and only allows for a 4% increase each year. I have lived in this amazing community for 24 years.

We’ve been living here for less than a year, and management has already made it very clear that they are in no way concerned about your living situation at Park La Brea. A real shame that this is the apartment we ended up getting at Miracle Mile, since the location is so good. And with so many good options and prices in the area, we suggest you avoid this one at all cost. I am finally going to move out in the coming months. Too many break-ins, stairways smell like pee, terrible management that ignore you, disrespect you, and rude. The complex is unsecured and anyone can walk in or drive in, loud music, people hanging out past 2 am being loud, dirty everywhere except tower 47 which is the tower they show potential tenants.

I also read about the elevators breaking down… We usually always had one out of commission due to a resident move in/out or one being broken down. Three times in my year long stay, I experienced both elevators being down at the same time. Not a big deal if you live on the first or second floor, but I lived on the 12th. It is worth mentioning that Park la Brea is not handicapped accessible. The only entrance with a ramp leads down to the elevators in the basement and there is zero handicap parking.
